Say you have a new website built and you are not hosting with AIA, but you want to keep the domain where it is. This article will explain how to change the nameservers on the domain so it points to the correct place so your webiste can be up and running again.

1. log in to the AIAWeb console using the email and password associated with the account. If you did not receive/do not remember the information, simply hit the 'Forgot Password' option and follow the prompts in the reset password email.

2. Once in the console home, along the top menu bar, select 'Domains'

3. From the dopdown menu, select 'My Domains'

4. You will now see a list of the domains associated with your account. Scroll through the list of domains until you have found the one you want to edit.

5. To the far right of the domain, you will see a picture of a spanner, and a down arrow. Click the down arrow.

6.  Select the first option 'Manage Name Servers'

7. Here is where you will enter the nameservers of your new hosting account.

8. Click 'Change Nameservers'

Note: You will need to make sure you have spoken to your new hosting company about what server names they have. Also remember that depending on the servers settings, the propogation of the nameservers may take up to 4 hours.
